I would like to host a pilgrim. What is the first step?
Fill out the application form and drop it off at the closest parish of your residence.

What should I provide to the pilgrims staying at my place?
Considering that the pilgrims are going to bring their own sleeping bags or mats, the hosting family should provide a safe and secure shelter to him/her to stay overnight and do his/her personal hygiene.

Who is responsible for providing meals for the pilgrims?
The WYD registered pilgrim will have three meals a day, which include breakfast, lunch and dinner, provided by the WYD committee. If the pilgrim does not choose this option on his/her application, it will be at his/her own expense.

I come from a neighborhood but my pastoral activities are in another neighborhood. Where should I register as a hosting family?
You can register at the closest parish of your residence.

There is no shower bath at our parish; however, we would like to accommodate pilgrims. What should we do?
The hosting team of the parish can arrange near houses that can provide a place to them to do their personal hygiene.

I would like to host volunteers. Should I provide daily meals?
The hosting family should provide breakfast and dinner while the COL-Rio will provide the lunch meal; however, on the weekends the three meals will be at the hosting family responsibility.

Why should I host from 22 to 31 of July of 2013, and not from 23 to 28 of July of 2013 exactly the period of the WYD?
Because some of the pilgrims are coming before the WYD and flying back after that according the flight availability.
